From the 6th month, the tasty whole grain oat cereal can be used to supplement your baby’s diet as a tasty cereal or with pureed vegetables. The whole grains contain unsaturated fatty acids and are a natural source of fibre. The whole grain oat cereal is easily digestible as the starch breaks down easily with warm added liquid. Made out of wholemeal oats from organic farms, the cereal tastes great for older children and adults, when mixed with yoghurt, nuts, raisins or fruit.
Seal the opened bag and store in a cool, dry, clean place. Consume within two to three weeks. To avoid risk of burning, do not warm the cereal in the microwave oven. Please read the preparation instructions carefully. The right dose will ensure that your baby receives the nutrients it needs. Prepare the cereal for each meal fresh and always use a spoon to feed your baby. Ensure that your baby’s teeth are cleaned regularly, in particular before going to bed.
Milk cereal from the 6th month*
Boil 80 ml milk and 120 ml water for each cereal meal. Allow to cool to approx. 50°C. Pour 5 tablespoons (approx. 25g) Töpfer organic wholemeal oat cereal into a cereal bowl and stir. Let it settle for one minute until the desired consistency is reached. Let it cool to correct eating temperature.
Fruit grain cereal from the 6th month*
Stir 2 tablespoons (approx. 10g) of Töpfer organic wholemeal oat cereal into 70ml of freshly boiled water cooled to 50°C. Then add 100g (around 6 to 7 tablespoons) of pureed fruits (e.g. apples, pears, bananas) and 1 teaspoon of rapeseed oil. Ready to eat!
* Standard preparation: 25g powder and 80ml whole milk and 120ml water
